A nice and interesting little book dealing with a "little known" part of the Civil War.

I am a foreign language and culture/history teacher, a military veteran, and a Civil War buff. She was a master of disguises and was a successful spy crossing the enemy lines many times to bring back important info to the Union army. Really interesting, quick read, biography about a young Canadian woman who served as a spy for the Union troops during the Civil War. I was pleased when he shared that he loved it.

Her adventures are interesting for sure.
