Can I wear a nice pair of shorts to Salt & Char. Our meal was just ok /the server was excellent but I feel we were totally let down by this restaurant for not living up to all its fame. We had ordered the Pork Tomahawk and it was so delicious and juicy that we wanted to order another one once we were finished. Had oysters, steak tartare, burrata salad, scallops and surf and turf.. all were really good. For events larger than that, our South Dining Room can accomodate parties of 11 or more, and can be completely private for parties consisting of 25 to 35 guests. Waiter was fabulous very knowledgeable and the food was delicious would definitely return.

Our first courses were fabulous. My wife got the stuffed lobster, but while the lobster itself was large, the edible portion was not and it was one of the few times she was still hungry afterwards. We are elated that your food and service lived up to the high standard we strive for, and that our safety precautions & protocols were able to put you at ease during your experience with us. Wine list was decent, although they didn't have what we ordered. Just a blob. The service is perfect.
