LGNGCGLNTNCNLENECE 9 Adventurers that even know of the Umber hulk’s existence suggest using mirrors in an attempt to confuse the umber hulk with its own gaze, but none have survived an encounter using this tactic to tell the tale.

If given the opportunity, it will break solid rock under an adventurer, grab them, and drag them back into the tunnel, using debris to give it cover from other members of the party while its mandibles and claws deal with its captured victim.
